All this talk about the NX being a home console or a mobile console..... I think it's all already pretty obvious what it really is. 

It's a home console with a WiiU controller type thing that you can use and do some sort of remote play like stuff from whereever you have access to an internet  connection. Hence befitting of the console+mobile monicker. I also feel they will design it such that the controller thing can act as a stand alone 3DS thing. 

I dunno if wifi tech is good enough for that though, PSNow and PSVita streaming works OK ... but it can be pretty hit and miss.

Maybe it's a mobile console like the ol' PC Engine which had like 5 or 6 different versions (really a unified platform):

Pretty freaking cool for 1991 ... a portable 16-bit console. It used the exact same game cards as the console PC Engine, it was basically the same system just with a screen.
