Well we already have 3d zelda games on mobile devices (ocarina of time and majoras mask) so its really just about the graphics.

With the PsVita and Remoteplay you can even play games like witcher 3 in the bus (with remote play).

With Gaming-laptops you can play games like Witcher 3 nativly on the go.

Thats why its more an evolution (at least for me) but that may be different difinition of the word gimmick ;)

We do, but you can't compare limited games from 1998, like Ocarina of Time, with what we have currently (like The Witcher or Skyrim). it's really not just the graphics... it's the scope, it's the size, it's much better animations, it's better performance which directly affects gameplay, it's better Artificial Inteligence, and so on... so it really changes how you play.

About notebooks/laptops... it's really not the same thing. They are not dedicated gaming machines and it's not like their size is so small you can carry around in your pockets. Like... have you ever seen someone just pulling out his/her laptop on the train to play Dark Souls III?
