Nintendo also had faith in the wii u.
And even with bad wii u sales they made decision like: No Voice Chat in Splatoon, Dual Screen Star Fox crap, Amiibo festival and so much more.
Maybe THEY think its awesome, but I doubt it will be that great for the rest of the world.
