Yes it is. Theyre talking about the delay of the NX. and the reason given is "Nintendo wanted to make sure there were games to go along with the NX.". Im assumeing hes talking about the launch of the NX, when asking about its delay. Delaying a launch 3-4 months doesnt make sure you can have games comeing in a steady flow for years and years to come. Its obvious hes talking about the launch titles for the NX.
Think of the wording. If you ask about a hardware delay, and the reason your giveing is "we want to be sure theres games to go along with it". How do you not think, ohhh... its launch title games their talking about? To me its what it is, its not "steady flow of games for years to come". |
I'm fairly sure the main reason why we are seeing such a drought with Wii U and why NX has been set to launch in early 2017 is because everything has been moved to NX, which is easy to understand. And my guess is that they are planning a long-term strategy to ensure the games release in a more steady way. I'm not there yet thinking it is going to go wrong once again (and for the 3rd generation in a row). I think everyone here is tired about droughts, and everyone wants them to find creative ways to shorten development cycles and elaborate innovative games in a short span of time (just like Splat).
