Nintendo will reveal the specs of its machine? That's not the way Nintendo works. But maybe they are changing that too.
Like others have said, I expect an October-Early November event/Direct. The reason is that, with the paltry estimation of 800K Wii U consoles, it's very clear that they don't give a sh!t about the console anymore and by revealing their new machine in that timeframe they can try to convince some people to not get a X1 or PS4 during Black Friday and X-mas.
Something that they won't achieve, by the way.
