I don't know what convinced you that it would come close to 30mil? It was obvious that the console would not have mass appeal. The thing was dead on arrival with a horrible concept, name and controller.

IIRC, this was way before it launched and any info on PS4 and XOne was available...and that was in lower end of what other people were predicting at the time.
