What if I'm not a fan of the fuel being harnessed though?

As for the specific reason of why I picked aeroplanes, I picked them because I love to travel, and aeroplanes made travelling exponentially easier than before. The wheel I picked for its overall usefullness everywhere, and the printing press because I love books, in addition to the impact on society it had by making information and knowledge much more accessible (though in tandem with other things).

I mean, favourite is a pretty wide term.

I'm just saying that even the wheel of your own list becomes redundant when the aeroplane is there too, since there isn't many planes which don't have a wheel in them (there are planes which take off from the water but those still have wheels and cogs in their workings)

....

I think I'm reading far too much into this thread lol, my choices shoulda just been Money and Ho's :D

No, my appreciation of the aeroplane doesn't include my appreciation of every single thing that went into making that aeroplane. I can appreciate both the wheel and the aeroplane, the fact that one of the many things a wheel is used for includes aeroplanes just reiterates the wheel's usefulness.

If not, my favourite invention is the LHC, with all the tech included within it! That ahould pretty much cover anything else and mentioning other useful stuff is redundant.
