There are benefits to doing it at E3 and there are also benefits to having your own dedicated conference. The bigger mistake I think is not getting this thing out before the holidays. With the Wii U and 3DS lineups how they are, Nintendo is looking at a year of sharp sharp decline for their dedicated gaming business. They better hope that their mobile stuff is enough to keep them going.
