I've worked at Target for 5 years and have met both customers and employees who are trans, and they always use the bathroom they identify with. The only thing new here is Target making it official policy. You should also know that pretty much every other major retailer opperates the same way. If you aren't causing an issue, they really don't give a shit which bathroom you use.

Do trans people identify as trans? I thought they identified as male/female, just not their gender at birth...
