I would still imagine it not being below 50 million budget, the lowest animation budget I think I seen on big screen movie is like 30 million, but those are not really on the same level as this movie and the higher on the list. I would be very surprised if the budget of this film is not 60-80 million when it comes out. 

The game and movie were both made at the same time with assets being exchanged by both Insomniac and Rainmaker so the budget shouldn't be tha high. I doubt it actually reached $50m let alone exceed it. The LEGO movie had a prod budget of just $60million, and Minions had $74million and those look way better than this one. I predict it to gain about $20 million max domestically and probably around $30-40m worldwide. It's getting most of its profit from the game and not the movie.
