The co-op is insanely fun, I'll say that. Separating the tasks you're meant to do at once makes the game feel much more solid. I still loathe the forced lock on in boss fights because the camera doesn't even try to give perspective at all, but whatever. It's solvable if you look at Gamepad when playing solo or have your partner shoot straight ahead in co-op.
