That's entirely possible. The final boss is a bit of a headache. I breezed through the main game and then hit something of a brick wall. However on my second play through I took care of business on the first try.
@OP: is this the most polarizing Nintendo game in a decade? Some fans love it, some fans hate it, and, judging by the poll results, the majority of people are waiting to see what others think.
