First off-- Mario Kart Wii is by far the best Mario Kart I've ever played and simply one of the best games I've ever played.
Second-- how old are your kids? Have you shown them things like Boom Blox, Carnival Games, Super Mario Galaxy, Rayman: Raving Rabbids, Zack & Wiki and all the other bajillion games that are great for kids on the Wii?
Third-- I will almost never recommend someone selling their current console to get a few games.
