Well, the lists only show million sellers. It's still odd though, that you aren't interested in at least a couple of these games. But consider that games don't have to sell that many copies to be considered successes on the DS and Wii. For example, each of the two Castlevania games on the DS has sold about half a million, but that was enough for Konami to make a third game for the DS. No More Heroes on the Wii came nowhere close to selling a million, but the publisher of the game was still very satisfied with the sales of the game. After taking a look at your games collection, the problem we have here is pretty obvious. The games you like simply haven't been made for the Wii yet. Nintendo doesn't make these types of games and 3rd parties didn't bother to make them as of now, at least not with serious efforts. But lately it looks like 3rd parties are starting to aim for M-rated games on the Wii with for example The Conduit and Mad World. They wouldn't make these games if they didn't believe that they can sell. JRPGs are also underway, so we'll some results in the latter half of 2008. |
I think he is talking about the list of 2008 ds games. If he doesn't seem interested in any of those games, then he has to try out new games. He just narrows himself to games that are "mature" and doesn't look pass that. I've seen a few rpgs in his collectin so the Dragon Quest Games Final Fantasy IV ASh Tales of Innocence,etc look like games he would like, but I guess not. |

"Adult games". Ugh. You just lost my respect. Games are about FUN, "activity engaged in for diversion or amusement". You're telling me all the games you like "just happen" to be adult? Or do you just define them after the fact? You should drop your God of War avatar, since gore, nudity, and gross historical innacuracy are not "adult", by most cultural standards. You should be playing Brain Training or others, that are actually selling to adults. Or you can drop that bullshit line about "adult" games, pardon my language, and just a look at the DS and Wii as actual game machines, not a fake threat to gaming. |
very mature there. Anyways, why do you guys care if i dont like these games, they not my types, and frankly i see tons of adults who buys and play wii and ds, but i dont critized them for doing so, it's there choice. But dont expect everyone to like them. If i wanted the type games you speak of , i would go to the gym, i would read a book and more importantly i would cook real food. I DONT NEED TO FAKE PLAY THEM. but i cant go out there and rob and shoot people, but i can in games.

Nobody said they wanted you to play those games. I said you should try out new games that don't fit in the "mature" description. Most of those DS games will be fun, but only 1 or 2 are "mature". There are tons of rpgs coming to the ds and you aren't interested in 1? I've seen you had FFX in your collection Final Fantasy IV is coming. To say you aren't interested in any of those games means you are very specific on what you like, and also will make it hard for you to find things you like on consoles with a variety of different games. |
