Kind of like they did with the Wii when they only showed the console design and nothing else. I believe Sony did that with the PS4, if I'm not mistaken. It's a smart idea to build hype and get people talking, in the loop for the console and consumer awareness.

None of those companies revealed those things an investors meeting.

No they didn't, but what's that to say that Nintendo won't say something around that time. I think that they will announce basic NX information pre-E3 to get exposer. I think it's in their best interest to do so. I also think, and I hope that they have a real press conference this year.
