I don't really know if radically changing development process would be such a good thing, but I seriously doubt Emily Rogers would know anything about the inner workings of Nintendo's Japanese studios.

Nintendo actually makes plenty of games.

The problem has been that they have to make games for two systems instead of one, if you divided Sony or MS' output in two, it would look terrible.

And the portable as technology has advanced has basically become a second console for Nintendo to have to worry about, so they're effectively making games for two consoles now.

But Nintendo makes more than enough games per year, that's never been the issue.
