Yeah, seems like lack of understanding of design paradigm...
When combos are limited by both your skill AND opponents' skill, they happen less often/ but can do more damage.
Which is exactly the opposite of the OP's claim.
Otherwise, there is little difference in high damage/unlimited combos, vs. just having fewer hit points/health.
The idea that opponent skill plays a role in preventing combos vs. them is hardly surprising.
To have it otherwise is less like multiplayer game and more like playing game vs. computer.
But sure, if you don't want to wrap your head around a new game's paradigm, don't play it.
Complaining it is different is absurd.
