Is the outrage towards PS4K proof that console gamers care more about performance and visuals than they're willing to admit?

Too bad it will cost Sony lots of bad reputation, never buying a Playstation console at launch ever again if they are going to start releasing "upgrades" every few years.

When the PS5 releases and Sony wonders why is it selling so poorly compared to the PS4 well this will be the answer, you don't betray your customers this way without consequences, why get it on day 1 when you are going to release an "upgrade" a few years later? I'd rather get the upgrade and be done with it, plus for 2 years the PS4 had virtually no games so it's not like i'm going to miss a lot waiting for the PS5.5 lol.

The PS4 had no games for 2yrs lol. This spoke volumes about this post smh....

But I have to ask Sony will have a bad reputation? Why? Because they released an upgrade? So I guess almost every company has a bad reputation then because every company seems to release upgrades....has been that way since well forever. So it is a "betrayal" because consumers who bought in early are not getting something that those who waited are? Really? That's what we are going with now? So why buy any electronic device?  I mean you know there will be an "upgraded" model coming a few years later so why buy at all? I mean hey in 4-5yrs a new one will be released taht works better and can do things that the early model could not so I might as well wait and get that one :-/
