Anyone can be discriminated against, but I think if most white people had to spend 3 months being black or Hispanic, it probably would be a fairly large shock to them (and I say that as someone who's not black or Hispanic).
We don't live in a post-racial, happy-mappy society, people still make a million assumptions about a person based on their skin color because it's so ingrained into us, it's probably a tribal mechanism.
