Is the outrage towards PS4K proof that console gamers care more about performance and visuals than they're willing to admit?

I honestly don't understand the people complaining that a PS4.5 will make playing on a PS4 feel like they're playing an inferior version. Well that's how i feel halfway every console generation compared to PC. This PS4 NEO fixes that problem.
