We'll known if the NX is an eighth or ninth gen console as soon as the NX2 comes out. If the NX2 comes out just in time to face the PS5 and XB2, then I would honestly just consider NX an 8.5 gen console.I doubt the NX will be powerful enough to face off against the PS5 anyway.
Long story short, too early to tell, but probably an 8.5 gen console.
