@discussion between Slimebeast and so on:

The Federal Criminal Police Office here in Germany (Bundeskriminalamt) released some data about the crimes done by immigrants and at least of those who came to Germany last year, it was shown that refugees from as example Syria and Iraq don't have a higher crime rate as comparable Germans have (comparable probably means low social status)

But people from Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo and Northern Africa are highly overrepresented talking about the crime rate.

Now there is always the question how much higher the crime rate of us Germans would be if we would have to live like some of the immigrants have to (with hundreds of people in one hall and stuff like that) and I'm sure our crime rate would increase as well but I think the statistic shows already that there are simply people from specific countries who are more of a problem as others are.

Many from Syria as example are real refugees who fled from war and are happy to get help. Then you have those who don't come because of war but for economical reasons and they aren't that thankful, many of them do a lot of shit here and they don't really care about the rules here.

Oh and btw, age does also play a huge role. Immigrants of many countries are mostly not very old so that this increases the crime rate of them automatically. If the age distribution of immigrants would be the same as from natives, the crime rate would sink or if natives would consist of less old people and more 20-40 or even 50 years old, the crime rate would probably increase.

If you have 100 people and 90 of them are between 20-50 years old then you will have a higher crime rate as if 50 of them would be above 60 years old.
