| Cirio said: If you guys actually read the OP it is about porn ADDICTION and not just viewing porn in general. Of course viewing porn is not a health crisis, but having a porn addiction (just like any other addiction) is detrimental to psychological and emotional health. This isn't a "religious propaganda" or an attempt at shaming you for watching porn. I think society as a whole needs to have a greater understanding about porn addiction, and judging by every post before mine, I think it's great that Utah is at least acknowledging it. |
So what exactly is Utah planning to do? Ban the internet? Censor websites like they're communist China or North Korea?
You can't really do anything without violating the constitution and free speech, and porn addiction ... whoopity doo. Really, stop jerking off if porn addiction is such a big issue in your life. No one's dying from porn addiction, no one's getting killed by a porn impaired driver.
Judging by the amount of obese people, "food addiction" is about 10000000x a bigger problem and legitimate health concern, but again what are you going to do? Ban hamburgers and pizza?
