I have a MSI laptop from 2014 with i7 (4th gen) and GTX 970m (upgraded from a dead 880m) , which is sufficient for medium-high setting of 8th gen games.
Will only build a desktop when second generation VR tech launches (2017?) and building a nvidia pascal, 3D memory VR capable desktop is cheap and alot VR games are on sale on steam.
On the meantime, I will buy PS4 NEO and PS VR (if comes with good launch lineup).
WIll probably buy NX console on 2017 also.
Don't Know what I will do with my older ps4 tho.
