Well the other issue is the vast majority of what's popular in video games ... are violent action games or sports sims.

Nintendo's been virtually locked out of the console market by relying on Disney style fare and the handheld market is being eaten alive by mobile. So if I'm Disney I'm probably not all that interested in getting any more involved in gaming that they already are. 

Besides their film/TV business is killing it, unlikely a game division would even come close to be anything but a foot note.
