You won't build as much momentum in 5 months as you could in a year and a half though.

Fact is that people already were very hyped about about Zelda U when was revealed at E3 2014, at this E3 that hype will be reactivated and make it much bigger than at E3 2014, and Nintendo will keep that hype and momentum till launch. Aso you don't need year and half to make momentum, Fallout 4 is proof of that.
