Still, despite being the land of handhelds, they both sure struggled a bit this gen. 3DS barely a quarter of the DS, and the PSVita.....a tenth of the PSP? Some land of the handheld JApan turned out to be :P

Ehhh your facts are off.  So far 3DS is 2/3 of DS, PSV is 1/4 of PSP. 

 

PS2 was an era before handhelds and mobiles took over completely.  

 

Ps4 is selling very well for a home console, theres no doubt about it.
