Nintendo has talked about their next platform since long before they revealed the NX. I've been saying that Nintendo would release a new platform in holiday 2016 since early 2014 when they had that investors meeting about their future. All the reveal did was give it a codename.

Look for dates on my page. Look for early 2014 (I can't remember if it was January or February when that first meeting was)

Look for March/April of last year. Look at the dates for every investors meeting since the 2014 one, look at the dates they were posted, and then look for my posts around that time. Maybe 65% of my knowledge on what the NX will be came from things said at those, and I was posting here for every one of them. Look at E3 of those years too.

Look at my posts and control+F things like "digital only" and "unified platform." Also "membership program." The further back you go, the more likely you are to find quotes. Anytime before March of last year, I probably referred to it as the Fusion (something I hated doing), since that was a well known rumor back then that people latched onto.

As for threads I've made, just skim through the titles. You'll be able to tell what's about the NX and what isn't.

I'm well aware of the Fusion rumors. A 2016 launch was a given, Nintendo often had 4 year cycles. So I don't see why that was a big deal in the first place. I assume that almost every Nintendo fan held this prediction and it was damn near as obvious as predicting that the sun will rise tomorrow morning. I used to talk this stuff myself, as had nearly every hardcore Nintendo fan. So do believe you when you say this stuff. As for "digital only". I'm not so sure Nintendo will go that route, not yet anyway.
