If you say it enough times, you'll eventually start believing it yourself :)
Personally, I'm not bothered by ports. It's not like we aren't getting new games and new IPs and the ports are often outsourced or done by a smaller studio that aren't taking any resources from development of other games. And if you aren’t interested in a specific game/port/remake/DLC/etc. don’t buy it. Additionally, I've never understood the hate for cross gen ports. The games are made for the newest gen and ported down.
Still, PlayStation got a lot of flack for its ports. A fair share of those from Nintendo fans. I remember A LOT of flack in a thread about TLOU:R and also a thread where PwerlvlAmy ended up getting moderated because he/she went all out with the “PS4 has leaps and bounds more remasters than original games”.
Below are some of the comments in just this 1 thread I bothered to find.

RubberWhistleHistle said: i know there are tons of apologists out there for remasters so i have to ask, how long are you willing to accept this kind of stuff? how many times does this have to happen before you say ENOUGH with the remasters? i seriously dont get it. there is a disconnect between me and some of you who think this kind of stuff is ok.
seriously. not that it will affect the sales of the ps4, but im talking for you die hard fans out there. dont you want ps4 to have its own identity? because so far it has hardly differentiated itself from the ps3 at all. its really sad to see honestly.

bunchanumbers said: I agree. It makes it hard to want to get a Sony PS4 system. It is packed with a large number of remasters, or spiritual successors of niche games. |
AlfredoTurkey said: Sony is just doing what makes them money. If people want to buy something, good business dictates you provide it. I don't like remasters myself. |
Bofferbrauer said: And with all those remakes, everything new from Sony feels like it's also on PS3 already, although naturally with worse graphics. |
PwerlvlAmy said: yeah the remakes are out of hand with the industry in general, but like others said, as long as people keep buying them then the companies will keep spitting them out |
onionberry said: it's only bad when the big N does it :p |
kupomogli said: PS4 has no identity of its own because it's nothing but ports |
Dusk said: I have been sick of games being remastered for a while already. |
POE said: The problem is these remasters are from not so old games. |
KoilroRazu said: I find it kind of cheap to rehash games that aren't THAT old |
Goodnightmoon said: I´m going to save this thread as a testament when somebody talks about apoligism in this regard. |

What is your point? You didnt understand my message at all dont you? I was gonna save this thread for people complaining about any Nintendo remaster on the future since everybody was super happy about remasters on ps4, and now the moment has come, who is gonna be the hypocrite that is gonna shit about this after defending the other remasters so much? Who is gonna be the one to call Nintendo apologist to anyone when he has been defending an ocean of remasters? A bunch of people, obviously, thats how gaming comunity works, and thats the whole point of the message.
And also, I want to remeber you that criticism about Ps4 remasters was mostly because the console was completely lacking quality exclusives, but meanwhile it was getting a reamster per week and the fanbase was using them as brand new games to make it look like Ps4 catalogue was way bigger and better than it was, if the console was getting good exclusives at the same time, nobody would have said shit about it.
