Sakurai has proven himself more than enough with Smash.
However, while Kid Icarus Uprising is a good game i didn't give a damn for the story, characters and the terrible humor the game had to offer which is not something i would like to see in a Fire Emblem game.
So im not sure about him directing FE.
How about a new ip.
