Looking at that article about upcoming Chinese console games makes me  at the settings. Ancient China and the various Chinese dynasties have a lot to offer for games IMO. Plus it would be cool if there was a uniquely Chinese feel to the games too. We've already got that with some Japanese games feeling kind of Japanesey so hopefully Chinese games will feel kind of Chinesey too. Although that said when I see things like '2D platformer' or 'side-scroller' I'm like  . It's only early days though, give them some time to catch up and hopefully they can produce some awesome games |
