PS4 has sold more than 3DS some recent weeks, and you are saying is the most popular console in Japan for this. Yeeeeeeeeeah, look at 2015, PS4 has outsold the 3DS for how many weeks? A lot, and?

3DS almost doubled PS4 2015 sales, because an abissal margin during the holidays. This is always what is happen, PS4 sales are strong during Q1, but then the rest of the year is not that strong, while 3DS is in beast mode during the holidays.

 

It's like, back in holidays 2015, last holidays the Wii U has outsold PS4, and by a huge margin. Then here we go "hey, Wii U is more popular than PS4, is selling more even if during all year PS4 outsold it by a lot, is selling more now so is more popular". 

"XBO is selling more than PS4 in holidays 2014 in USA, most popular console confirmed". No lol.

3DS is by far the more popular console in Japan right now, even if is 6 years old 2016 total sales are bigger than PS4 2016 total sales, and even in the stronger PlayStation quarter of the year 3DS is selling very similar. See you this summer, wanna see if you will still think PS4 is now the most popular console.
