Its possible the game will flop, it looks like a risky project.

However, Alan Wake was profitable in spite of selling just over 500k in 10 weeks. Depends on the budget but I get the impression Remedy does good work with a smaller budget than many studios 

Anyhow, somebody at MS claimed pre orders were great so maybe it will have a solid start.

I dont think AW costs as much as QB much more technical + coming with à TV show staring very expensive actors. ( same problème than beyond , it's à a lot of money just for 3-4 people)

 

Imo they shouldnt have put a budget in à serie, i read  somewhere that the budget was very high because of that when they announced it , it must be à big hole in thé budget of the game and because of that, it might not be profitable.
