The sarcasm flew right over your head, unsuprisingly. You're not understanding. Those resources wouldn't be making a significant impact on anything that would be worth missing the opportunity to add a game to their library. These decisions are made because the resources are not more useful elseware. If a Splatoon port is coming, it's because there is nothing they can get out around that time that fills that roll. You're getting a Splatoon port because those resources wouldn't be for anything better. Games don't release when they're done - they release when they will sell the best. If the Splatoon port resources could have been used to, for example, get Zelda out six months early, it literally wouldn't matter because it's probably releasing in November anyway because that's the best time to launch a game like that. It would be a waste of those resources to bloat the team of another game to get them ahead of schedule instead of porting an old game. The reasons these decisions are made are far more complex then you or anyone else here is making them out to be. |
Nah, I doubt you were being sarcastic.
Ah yes, "because I say so!" logic, classic spemanig.
Your third paragraph is irrelevant for I never said anything about when games release.
