Like I said, I'm guessing the 4 games that Emily has heard about are Zelda, Smash, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8/Pokken. I still say the NX will have digital BC, and these are the games that make sense porting under those circumstances. Three of them are games that are platforms, so the ports justify themselves by having NX exclusive content and benefits. Zelda is there to show off the added functionality of NX like more power on the console and portability on the handheld.
Especially if I'm right that Wii U BC will be exclusive to the console because the handheld won't be able to handle them, this makes total sense. The benefit of the port, then, would be to be able to play the game on both devices. The reason the handheld won't be able Wii U games isn't because it'll be too weak to handle the games, but to handle the emulation and lack of optimization.
With ports, the games will be designed for the NX with a version to be playable on the handheld, which would be the reason it would make sense.
