I'm torn on that. On the one hand I'd really like to see Nintendo takle a same sex romance in a way where it doesn't really matter that it's same sex.
On the other I also really like storys that are just about awesome friendship, and that goes for Male/male, male/female, female/female friendships in equal regards.
In any case the scenario I'd like most is if you, reagardless of your player characters gender can play it the way you like. There could be an evolving romance with her, or just a really close bond, depending on how you play the game instead of it being tied to the gender options.
The one thig I wouldn't like is if maleLink=obvous romance, FemaleLink=girlpower. I think both should have equal possibilities of evolving relationships. And not just with Zelda either btw. but also with the side characters. I'd like to see more of them.
