And that justifies Link being a girl how....?

Just because a character looks more girly than others justify it changing gender? No offense, but the argument is veryyy bad.I mean, Nathan Drake is a fit guy, but he has a fat version. So should every fit and musculous guy change into a fat one?You know where Im getting at.

It justifies the OPTION of having a female Link since masculinity is not really integral to the character as he/she basically has zero gender specific personality to begin other than being vaguely "determined" (whereas Drake being a man is central to the character's personality). And yes the character looks so much like a woman to begin with that you may as well have the option if people want it.

Hey like I said if a guy just needs his Link to have a dick and balls, great, you have that option too, I don't see it impacting any one's play experience.

For Link I think it works fine. For other characters not so much perhaps.

Sure, cosplaying is easier been done by woman, but Im sorry, the in-game character does not look like a girl(just the one from Zelda U footage, that looks girlish, I gotta admit). But I find ridiculous that a videogame character needs very clear man traits to be considered a man.I mean, really?Just because cosplaying is done more easily with woman, that justifies Link being female? The soul argument is good and makes sense, now this one is just.... ridiculous. So if a man manages to pull off a Lara croft cosplay, or a woman manages to pull off a Kratos cosplay, that would justify the switch?Cmon. At least give me a good argument.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
