Yeah, it works for me. If they give Link a voice, maybe I'd find harder to make that abstraction, and I could maybe lose that inmersion for me. Although I agree that with each new Zelda game they've released, Link was growing as a proper character, making me harder to overcome that "issue". I wouldn't mind a Link with voice, but I'd need to time to get used to it.
