Is 720p still acceptable to you?

I think most of us here have figured out by now that this thread was created to justify the denial of 1080p and the justifcation of settling for 720p when clearly there are better options.

What does the "denial of 1080p" even mean?

As for "better options", not everyone considers such options worthwhile. Plenty of games cannot be played at 1080p on any current console, yet many opt to play the lower resolution console versions anyway, be it because consoles are more convenient, or that is where their friends are, or a high end gaming PC is beyond their financial means.

People have different priorities.
