Says your own imagination. Here in reality though, a game in the making for less than a year isn't coming out sooner than a game that's been in development for at least thrice that much time, let alone in the following year.

Do you really think the game has only been in development for a year? Not only that, but they're made by completely different teams. 

They want to get it out for the 20th anniversary of the game.
