Gamexplain talks about 10 hours. That game you talk about is around 8.

Also I dont understand that comparison at all,  extremely different games, it makes way more sense to compare star fox with star fox.

It's a comparison between two arcade-based games that works mostly on-rails (with Star Fox having the edge with free-of-movement sequences) and both consist of taking down your enemies to proceed or die. I think it's a fair comparison, despite the different atmosphere and characters in both games.

Gamexplain says it's 10 hours to unlock every stage, but 3 and a half hours to beat the campaing from the first playthrough. Umbrella Chronicles has an eight to ten hours campaing in your first playthrough which then opens up more and more stages and sequences for the player to enjoy. The point I'm getting at is that just because a game goes the arcade-style route, doesn't necessarily justifies having such a short campaing, even if it was the standard back in the 64 days. When a Wii game from 2007 which has a very similar system manages to almost triple that amount of hours, and then has more hours when you chose to try and unlock everything, well, you see why Star Fox could have aimed for more.
