Gen 6 has no soul in terms of design. It does little to actually make me care about the game world. Everything's all happy happy or tries to be deep but it just doesn't work. They're trying too hard and it isn't working. The core gameplay is amazing as always. They're good games but after Gen IV, things just started to become too cookie cutter for me. Hopefully Sun and Moon try something different.
