Pretty simple considering his character has 'redeemed himself' and his cycle of vengance is complete. so to speak by the end of GoW3.

They turn the narrattve into building him as a hero against oppressive Gods, turning him into a wanderer type protagonist.

yeah,personally doesnt sound very interesting to me really. I'm a wee bit tired of his character in general. Hopefully the game actually turns out good though either way
