Japan is waiting for MGS 4 and FF 13. Then PS3 sales will pick up in Japan.

The MGS series isn't nearly as big in Japan as it is in the west. By the time the FFXIII hits in 2009 it will be too late for the PS3 in Japan. FFXIII will be just like The Ocarina of Time was for the N64. It will sell very well but do little to change the consoles fate in Japan.
