Do Nintendo fans enjoy seeing the downfall of the HD consoles?

Super Mario - Done to death (wheres luigi ?)
Zelda - Done to death
Sonic - Done to death.. (i know it's sega, but he appears a lot on nintendo)

Most of nintendos first party games are reruns of old games. I'm not saying that it's terrible, i'm just saying that maybe it's time for something new. Personally my favorate supermario game is Super Mario Bros. 3. For the Snes.

Nintendo is still milking it's key franchises to the point where the mascots should be gasping for air.

Ofcourse you see the same on other consoles, but not to this extreme point.

Again, i'm not saying they shouldn't make more mario games, i just think they should stop putting him in all of their games.
But hey, if it works it works.

People fail to see that all publishers do this.  Let's compare Sony and some their PS2 published games and Nintendo with some of their GC published games.

GC:

Mario - 1 title
Zelda - 3 titles
SSB - 1 title
Mario Kart - 1 title
Metroid - 2 titles
Mario Party - 4 titles
Pikmin - 2 titles

PS2:

GT - 5 titles
Socom - 4 titles
Jak - 4 titles
GoW - 2 titles
Ratchet - 5 titles
Hotshots Golf - 4 titles
ATV Off Road - 4 titles
Singstar - 17 titles
Getaway - 2 titles
Buzz - 11 titles
Amplitude - 2 titles
Ape Escape - 4 titles
Arc the Lad - 2 titles
Bleach - 4 titles
Gun Parade Orchestra - 3 titles
Sly Cooper - 3 titles
