I don't agree. It takes time, money and a lot of effort to create a new character that the world can simpathize with. It takes a few second to take a recognized face and change it to show your support to diversification.
And different timelines allow for character changes. Ganondorf isn't a pig in that game. Link doesn't have to be a white male in this new Zelda.
