Popular console genres haven't done well on portable consoles since PSP.

That can also be explained by most people who want the game already having it on console.  Though when I say kind of content, I mean the fact that the games generally feel bigger and have higher budgets.  That may not exactly translate to more sales for a game, but I think it gives consoles a higher attach rate, since many handheld games may feel too cheap for people.  If that makes sense.

edit: Though I guess the point can kind of tie in to the "different audience" argument as being almost the same thing.
