The Wii U flopped so people clearly didnt care enough to return for 2nds,  we dont know how well VR will do, but lets be real the selling point for those arent the motion controls. phones and tablets would have used that tech regardless. We're not gonna act like Ninty was responsible for those devices using that tech especially since it existed before the Wii anyway.

Again Ninty had little to do with that as those devices were already heading in that touch direction.

Wii & DS were the first truly successful touch & motion controlled gaming devices now billions of devices have those features. Take that however you like.
