Nintenso sold over 250 million units of hardware and nearly 2 billion units of software last generation.

Motion control isnt anywhere near as big as it was, if it was that important Ninty wouldnt have dropped it. Kinect would still be around and Sony would have moved on with Move. Touch screen pretty sure phones and tablets have more to do with that. 

Yes they did great last gen. what about now?

The Wii U gamepad has motion controls, many games still use the Wii Remote, phones/tablets utilize motion controls, PSVR/Oculus/Vive all use motion controls.

Phones/Tablets use touch controls which account for billions of devices.

Pretty much every post-Wii/DS device with gaming as a feature utlizes motion controls, touch controls or both.
