I'm curious. Has any outlet owned by Gawker ever criticised people for attacking the likes of Richard Dawkins, Tim Hunt, Matt Taylor or Phil Mason, one of whom lost their job because of the online outrage, over their 'controversial' comments? I'm just curious if Gawker and its employees/contractors are against online mobs getting, or attempting to get, people fired in general, or only if it happens to certain people (people of the same ideological bent).

I personally don't condone any of these outrage mobs directly targeting people's source of income, regardless if I generally agree with their views or not, but I am curious to see if Gawker is neutral in this or if it celebrates outrage mobs in one instance whilst decrying them in another (like its approach to sexual imagery of celebrities).
